Chelsea O'Donnell has left mom Rosie O'Donnell to live with her birth mother Deanna in Wisconsin.
Sources told TMZ Deanna picked Chelsea up Monday, her 18th birthday. Rosie reportedly discouraged her daughter from leaving and is said to have cut her off financially.
"Chelsea made a decision when she turned 18 that she wanted to go to her birth mother," the 53-year-old television personality's rep told ABC News. "This was her choice."
The news comes just over a week after Rosie implored fans to help find Chelsea, who had been missing for days. The teenager was discovered Tuesday, Aug. 18 at the home of 25-year-old Steven Sheerer, an alleged heroin dealer.
Rosie and first wife Kelli Carpenter adopted Chelsea in 1997, and also share son Blake and daughter Vivienne. The television personality is also mother to son Parker, whom she adopted as a single mother, and daughter Dakota with ex-wife Michelle Rounds.
From 2009 to 2011, she hosted Rosie Radio on Sirius XM Radio. In 2011, O'Donnell signed on with the OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network to return to daytime TV with The Rosie Show. The network cancelled the show due to low ratings on March 16, 2012, and the last show aired on March 29, 2012. In July 2014, Rosie O'Donnell was rehired to join The View as a co-host for the series' eighteenth season. O'Donnell announced in February 2015 her decision to depart the series again, this time citing personal reasons for her departure.
