US Stocks End Higher
US Shares.

US stocks closed higher Tuesday, with many of the biggest gains coming in technology and consumer stocks following the US presidential debate, while oil prices fell on fading hopes of agreement on limiting production.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 133 points, or 0.7%, to 18,228. The Standard & Poor's 500 index climbed 13 points, or 0.6%, to 2,159. The Nasdaq composite gained 48 points, or 0.9%, to 5,305.
