Seoul shares slip 0.39 pct on U.S. woes

South Korean stocks fell 0.39 percent on Thursday as investors remained concerned about the U.S. economy after the Fed said economic woes may persist, analysts said. The local currency fell against the U.S. dollar. The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) lost 8.04 points to 2,055.86. Trading volume was moderate at 255.5 million shares worth 5.34 trillion won (US$4.96 billion), with losers outpacing gainers 454 to 354.
