The Qatar Exchange in the green area Thursday adding 9.78 points or 0.12% to 8,502.49 points from the previous closing of 8,492.71. The volume of shares traded was up to 6,471,947 from 5,239,695 on Wednesday and the value of shares was increased to QR277,929,040.17 from QR238,265,011.64 Wednesday. Top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar which was up 0.83% to QR73.00,Barwa Real Estate rose 1.15% to QR30.90, Masref Al Rayan gained 1.44% to QR23.99 and Qatar Telecom up by 1.80% to QR158.10. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 15.95 and the Insurance sector added 138.29 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 2.79 points and the Services sector was up 22.88 points
