FlyGeorgia is exploring possibilities to connect the Gulf market with Georgia. And along these lines, the carrier launched two new services during the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) this year — FlyGeorgia Holidays and the FlyGeorgia Travel Card. “Our main goal in participating in this year’s ATM is to introduce the country of Georgia to the Arabian market and to educate travellers on all the destinations within the country,” Tannaz Hosseinpour, the company’s spokesperson, said in a statement. “Once the traveller becomes aware of all that Georgia has to offer, we will be introducing FlyGeorgia Airlines as the way to visit the country.” In less than a year, FlyGeorgia launched services to ten destinations within three continents. The airline said it is looking to add additional routes and destinations within the Asian market during 2013. This year will also see the privately-owned Georgian airline adding more aircraft to its fleet, “which will aid the airline’s objective to increase services for travellers and move forward with plans of creating more routes and destinations”, the airline said, adding its current fleet is comprises four Airbus planes with two new aircraft expected to start operating by the end of the year.
