Etisalat announced today the revision of its telegram service charges bringing it in line with current industry standards. Etisalat's telegram service was launched in 1992, allowing users to send a written or verbally dictated message for delivery to destinations around the world. The new prices will be effective from 18 January 2013. Etisalat's telegram service within UAE or to any GCC, Arab Country, Europe, USA and rest of the world will be charged fixed plus per-word charges as follows: Fixed charges AED 10.00 and per word charges are AED 1.50 (Delivery within 48 Hrs). For the First Class Telegram (Delivery on same day), AED 20.00 as fixed charges and per word charges are AED 2.50.
