Etisalat announced yesterday that it will accelerate adoption of mobility for enterprises in the UAE, enabling business customers to meet their organisational demands through secure cloud-based solutions. In 2015, the IT sector in the UAE is forecast to grow to over Dh 18 billion from about Dh 17 billion last year. More recently, tablet computers have become more popular among consumers as they provide computing power to the user with mobility, according to the telecom service provider.
Etisalat has collaborated with the Austin, Texas-based Kony company, in providing its enterprise customers with a rich collection of pre-built enterprise apps and app models, which can be used to quickly assemble and configure secure, enterprise-grade mobile apps. Etisalat will provide its customers with a full-spectrum of enterprise mobility solutions and enable strong integration capabilities supporting a range of complex enterprise applications. Service level agreements will provide Etisalat's customers guaranteed support for new devices and operating systems.
