National carrier EgyptAir will maintain the close ties binding the nations of Egypt and Sudan, said the new regional director of EgyptAir in Khartoum Mahmoud Sakr.

The company will continue to develop its fleet between Cairo and Khartoum and enhance the service offered to the passengers, he added in exclusive statements to MENA correspondent here.

During receiving the administration of Khartoum's bureau from his predecessor Ahmed Hanafy, Sakr said the EgyptAir keep its ticket prices unchanged through flights between Egypt and Sudan and vice versa.

EgyptAir is adopting a clear-cut strategy and will always be pioneering in the travel market and air transportation in Sudan, he added.

The company is dealing with 150 companies and travel agents in Sudan, he said.
