CJ Cheiljedang Q3 net plummets 79%

CJ Cheiljedang Corp., South Korea's leading food company, said Wednesday that its third-quarter earnings dropped 79 percent from a year earlier due to currency losses. Net profit reached 27.1 billion won (US$23.8 million) in the July-September period, compared with a year earlier, the company said in a regulatory filing.
