Daewoo E&C aims for 15 tln won in orders

Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co. (Daewoo E&C), South Korea's fourth-largest builder, is targeting 15 trillion won (US$12.9 billion) in new orders this year, despite unfavorable business conditions, its chief executive said Wednesday. The company will strive to push up sales to 7.5 trillion won in the new year and achieve an operating margin of around 5 percent by focusing on overseas markets, Seo Jong-uk told reporters.
