Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Moayyed has expressed the Bahraini private sector’s desire to discuss the economic and investment opportunities offered by Bahrain and Azerbaijan, as well as the available opportunities to bolster cooperation between the two friendly countries in the economic sectors and trade and investment fields.
He also highlighted the need to increase bilateral meetings and exchange of the visits of trade delegations to strengthen bilateral economic relations.
During a meeting held recently at Beit Al-Tijjar with the Riyadh-resident Azeri Ambassador to Bahrain, Rasim Rzayev, Al-Moayyed, expressed BCCI’s readiness to coordinate with all the relevant official parties to develop economic relations with Azerbaijan through joint investment projects.
He pointed out that the investment atmosphere in the two countries pave the way for increasing trade exchange, noting that Bahrain’s private sector is looking forward to opening up new channels of cooperation and coordination with Azerbaijan and other countries of the world, especially in the economic, trade and development fields.
The Azeri envoy said that his country is looking forward to enhancing areas of trade and economic cooperation with Bahrain, highlighting the possibility of bolstering bilateral cooperation in the fields of food, agriculture and petrochemicals.
He expressed the Azeri Embassy’s readiness to cooperate and coordinate with BCCI in everything that may lead to enhancing joint economic and investment relations.
