The 7-million-dollar United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Competition and Consumer Protection Program for the Middle East and North African (MENA) was launched in Cairo on Tuesday.
During a conference organized by the Egyptian Competition Authority (CPA) on the event, Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Kabil underlined the government keenness on spreading awareness and applying the free competitiveness rules to upgrade markets performance and, hence, realize economic and social development.
He hailed the role played by the CPA to ensure free competitiveness and prevent monopoly in the Egyptian market
