Jordan on Monday announced the main issues on the agenda of the World Economic Forum, which will convene at the Dead Sea shores from 21-23 October. Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) Nasser Lozi said that holding the form in Jordan for the sixth time confirms its influential force on the agendas and approaches of this global platform to serve the regional issues and priorities. He added that the forum will focus on economic growth and stability and how to maintain positive regional economic growth. It will also focus on employment and means to create job opportunities for young people to be key players to boost their countries’ economic development. Among other themes of the forum would be providing quality education for Arab youth, qualifying them with essential skills and creating the environment needed to enhance the leadership culture. Bringing together 50 countries from around the world, the forum will focus on best practices in economic policy and reform and elaborate concrete ways in which all stakeholders can drive positive outcomes across the region.
