Prime Minister Habib Essid, on Friday, visited companies “STELLA” and “DEMAT” based in the industrial area of El Mghira, Ben Arous and specialising in the production of aerospace components.
Essid met with the executives and employees of these plants and inquired about working conditions in the two firms, according to a press release from the Prime Ministry.
Created in 2008, “DEMAT” is a 100% Tunisian company totally exporting and operating in aeronautics. It employs 63 people (executives and employees).
The company “STELLA”, based in Tunisia since 2010, employs about 780 executives and employees trained in aeronautics, including university graduates.
The company is specialising in the production of the external components of civil aircraft. Part of the 80% of its production is reserved to the construction of components of aircraft type “Airbus 320.”
The Prime Minister was accompanied during this visit by Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining Zakaria Hamad and Governor of Ben Arous Abdellatif Missaoui.
