Supply Minister Khaled Hanafy has invited local and foreign investors to submit applications to the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA) to establish supermarket chains and logistics zones over 221 portions of land in 16 governorates.
The supermarket chains should provide commodities at reduced prices, Hanafy said Monday as he chaired a meeting of ITDA board.
Board chairperson of ITDA Ahlam Roshdi said the meeting tackled a plan to upgrade commercial register offices across the country.
The commercial register offices will be linked together and with the chambers of commerce through the electronic network, Roshdi said.
The one-stop-shop system will also be activated, she added.
