The Sudan and the state of South Sudan on Thursday concluded technical talks pertinent to oil file in a meeting co-chaired by the undersecretaries of oil ministries in the two countries.
The Undersecretary of the Sudan Ministry of Oil and Gas, Engineer Bakheit Ahmed Abdulla, said the routine technical talks targeted the follow up of the agreed upon aspects, to provide technical aid for the operation of the Unity Field oil wells, the exported oil Sudan outlets, the purchase of the crude oil for Um Dabakir station in addition to training of the cadre from South Sudan in the Petroleum Training Center in Khartoum.
South Sudan's Undersecretary, Engineer, Mohamed Lino has lauded the technical cooperation with the Sudan, noting that it is the safety valve for the implementation of the agreements signed between the two countries.
