President Abdel Fattah El Sisi chaired a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the ongoing preparations for the Egypt Economic Development Conference to be held on March 13 through 15 in Sharm el Sheikh.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab along with the Central Bank of Egypt governor and ministers of planning, electricity, petroleum, international cooperation, finance and investment.
The president issued directives to the top officials to ensure the success of the gathering, said President's Spokesman Alaa Yousef.
The meeting also touched on the recent economic-related legislation probed by the government.
