Qatar Chamber (QC) is taking part in the 42 meeting of the Committee of Executive Leadership of the Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FGCCI) scheduled to be held on 9 March in Dubai.Hosted by the Federation of the UAE Chambers of Commerce & Industry, the Committee of Executive Leadership of the FGCCI is made up of secretary generals, managers, and executives of chambers and federations of chambers of commerce and industry in the GCC.
Qatar Chamber Director General Saleh bin Hamed Al Sharqi praised the role played by the FGCCC general secretariat to develop the gulf private sector and increase its participation in the economic process, according to a press release issued by QC today. He assured the Chamber's support to all efforts exerted in accomplishing integration among gulf chambers and enhancing cooperation that benefit the gulf economy in general.
The Federation of Chambers of GCC aims to strengthen GCC chamber bonds and relation as well as consolidate steps enhancing economic cooperation among countries sharing common values and destiny. Its mission is to strengthen and accelerate the pace of economic integration between the GCC countries to attain economic unity, while its mission is to provide the proper environment for the development of the Gulf private sector performance and strengthening its competitiveness, to be the locomotive of development in the GCC countries’ economies and the driving tool towards their integration and unity.
