State Minister for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani said that the plan to stimulate the economy, which was approved by the Cabinet yesterday, was prepared by the public and private sectors after a series of meetings between the two sides.
Momani added in the weekly program “News and Dialogue”, that was broadcast by Jordan Television and Radio Jordan early on Thursday, that these meetings and discussions were a base for drafting solutions and proposals to address economic challenges facing the economy.
The plan, Momani said is linked to specific measures, pointing to 95 economic reform procedures that will be taken in the coming state as well as 85 government projects with a cost of JD7 billion.
The minister pointed to positive indicators that have been detected in the national economy since the beginning of the year such as the rise in tourism revenues, remittances of expatriates as well as exports.
