Trade and Industry Minister Tareq Kabil said the ministry adopted a plan aimed at creating a new generation of specialized industrial compounds at the current phase.
During a tour of textile industries area in Kafr el Dawwar city, the minister inaugurated three factories at Egyptian investments standing at 362 million pounds. He was accompanied by Behira Governor Mohamed Sultan.
Exports of these factories exceed two million dollars in the weaving and textile manufacturing and as many as 800 laborers will work at them.
Kabil said the ministry aims at expanding the establishment of industrial complexes to boost the competitiveness edge of the local industry at both the local and foreign markets.
