Jordan's Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Jafar Hassan on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with his Iraqi counterpart Ali Shokri. Under the memo, Iraq will benefit from the Jordanian expertise in setting developmental priorities, attracting and managing foreign aid and setting developmental plans and programs. Hassan said the agreement aims to bolster ties between the two neighboring countries, serving mutual interests. He added that his ministry will help its Iraqi counterpart to improve its ability to attract foreign aid. The Iraqi minister hailed the brotherly ties between the two countries, valuing the stances of the Kingdom''s leadership, government and people towards the Iraqi people.
