The Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) on Monday dismissed allegations of laying off Egyptian workers in Kuwait.
A fact finding report issued by the IDSC, said that it had contacted the Manpower Ministry, stressing that such news are groundless and bare of truth.
The Egyptian community in Kuwait is the largest after the Indian one, the IDSC noted, adding that Kuwait officials did not make any remarks about dismissing Egyptian expats.
Meanwhile, the Manpower Ministry pleaded with Egyptian expats to abide by the laws of their host country, besides obtaining authenticated work permits.
