H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has issued Resolution No (44) of 2015 concerning the amendment of the Organisational Structure of Dubai Municipality.

The Resolution allows the municipality to efficiently implement its strategic plans and carry out its responsibilities to fulfill its goals and achieve customer service excellence at all levels, enabling it to contribute to the sustained, comprehensive development process in the emirate of Dubai.

Under the new Resolution, names of a number of organisational units within Dubai Municipality are being amended in accordance with their assigned areas of responsibility, such as the Communication and Community Sector, Strategic Management and Organisational Excellence, Customer Relationship Management and Partnerships, Knowledge Management and Innovation, in addition to Architectural Heritage and Monuments. Other changes include the creation of new organisational units such as the General Revenues Department, Recreation Department, Food Department and the Department of Sustainable & Renewable Energy Application.

The new Resolution annuls The Executive Council’s Resolution No (27) of 2015. Resolution No (44) of 2015 is considered valid from the date of issuance and is to be published in the Official Gazette.
