As part of the Emiratisation initiative to employ more UAE nationals in the private and public sectors, Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation, Empower, the world’s largest district cooling services provider, announced on Wednesday a 13 percent increase in 2016 in the employment of UAE nationals in the company.
"We, Empower, are operating in a very specific and prolific industry, with so much potential for growth. As a dynamic employer, we are always searching for qualified profiles and highly experienced specialists but also opening our door for the young Emirati talent in the fields of energy, research and development, sales, marketing, and engineering, among others, and we also pay special attention to employing women UAE nationals," said Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.
He added, "Empower aims to sustain its leading and instrumental position in the global district cooling industry. This is only reachable when we have on board the right human resources. We call UAE nationals to join our growth-journey, and to get the advantage of all the opportunities that our company represents in terms of career development, innovation and prosperity."
"The UAE and Dubai economy are more diversified and creating new possibilities for both locals and expatriates. We are very proud to take part in the national initiative that helps national talent integrate into the work market and contribute efficiently to building our country and preparing them to become the future leaders of our economy," concluded Bin Shafar.
