Manpower Minister Mohamed Saafan urged Egyptian workers in Jordan to renew their work permits at labor offices and avoid dealing with brokers.
In statements on Thursday, Saafan said if the worker faces any problem, he can resort to the Egyptian embassy's labor office.
He added that the Jordanian Labor Ministry will take new measures to confront the phenomenon of counterfeiting documents, especially laborers' vacation permits.
The Jordanian Labor Ministry has canceled several vacations of migrant laborers, including Egyptians, over fake permits.
