Transport Minister Saad el Gyoushi visited Saturday Wadi el Natroun-el Alamin road to follow up the rate of implementing work in it.
Gyoushi reiterated finishing the road as scheduled next month, asserting the importance of this project which will increase the land trade movement between Egypt and Libya and help the internal tourism between Cairo and the North Coast.
The road was designed according to the latest international specifications to face rain and torrential rain, he said.
Gyoushi directed to intensifying work around the clock to end work on the road, adding that there is a committee that will follow up the work in the project because any delay in work is a waste of public money.
