At the instructions of His Highness Brigadier-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Commander of the Royal Guard and Head of the Supreme Organising Committee of Bahrain International Defence Exhibition/Conference (BIDEC2017), His Highness Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force has met a number of executives from companies and corporations interested to participate in Bahrain International Defence Conference/Exhibition2017 slated to be hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the auspices of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on October 16-18.
BIDEC2017 offers a huge opportunity to exchange ideas, expertise pertaining to latest security developments in the military field.
HH Major Shaikh Khalid was briefed on the military industries' advanced hi-tech equipment and systems, expressing his pride in the Kingdom of Bahrain's hosting this international military exhibition which will be under the patronage of His Majesty the King and Supreme Commander. He added that BIDEC2017 will have its positive dimensions for Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) to keep abreast with latest advancement and modernization in military systems for land, air and naval forces.
His Highness said the cooperation between the Saudi-led Arab Coalition in support of the legitimacy in Yemen, the Islamic Alliance against Terrorism and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) is clearly indicative of the importance of the exchange of advanced ideas and military expertise during BIDEC2017.
