Managing Director and CEO of the Kuwait Projects Company (KIPCO) Faisal Al-Ayyar said here Thursday that the Algerian government and KIPCO were discussing steps to launch major projects in Algeria next month. Al-Ayyar told KUNA on the sideline of a dinner banquet at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Algiers that the KIPCO delegation headed by board Chairman Sheikh Hamad Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah had met with President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Minister of Finance Karim Djoudi, and other government and business officials, discussing matters pertaining to the launch of major projects in the country. The KIPCO delegation expressed during the meetings its interest in the properties and insurance sectors due to experiences within such fields, said Al-Ayyar. The official affirmed that the Algerian market was very interesting and diverse, attracting regional and international businesses which in turn prompted the company to venture in it.
