Damietta Governor Ismail Abdel Hamid Taha said 10 new quasi-hangar facilities were set up to house small and medium sized workshops of Damietta furniture city project.
In statements while inspecting the progress realized so far in the project, he said big factories and an exhibition complex will be set up within the framework of the project.
He added that governmental and administrative complexes will also be erected.
A gas station and a hospital will also be set up alongside buildings for financial and banking institutions, he added.
Also, an academy for furniture designing will also be established
