- Suleibikhat sports club is proclaimed. 1975 -- MPs Jassem Al-Qatami and Rashid Al-Farhan submit the first draft law in the history of Kuwait's parliamentary life. The draft law gives Kuwaiti women their complete political rights, but the National Assembly is dissolved before it is discussed. 1993 -- The first by-elections are held in Kuwait in the 14th and 15th constituencies, re-electing Mubarak Al-Khurainij and Humoud Al-Jabri. 1994 -- The Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issues decree 37 of 1994 on establishing an institute for legal and judicial studies. The institute is inaugurated in 1995. 1998 -- The Interior Minister issues an order forming a national defense sub-committee in each governorate. 2003 -- Abdulaziz Al-Saraawi passes away at the age of 75. He was a diplomat, MP, and former minister of social affairs and labor. 2005 -- The world's largest kite, in the shape of the Kuwaiti flag, is flown in Kuwait as part of the Hala February festival. It measures 25 meters in length and 42 meter in width. 2006 -- The Public Authority for Youth and Sports declares the establishment of the first private club in Kuwait.Kuwait Chairman's Sports Club.
