A photo exhibition of the glorious November 54 revolution entitled “crossed views” is being held at the Arts and Exhibition Centre (CAREX) at the Abdelkrim Dali Cultural Centre in Hai Imama (Tlemcen).
This exhibition, which includes many black and white pictures, is “an invitation to revisit the history of this revolution, 60 years after its outbreak,” according to CAREX’s general director.
The pictures of various formats offer the public of Tlemcen an opportunity to “revisit” its history through artist-photographers of different nationalities.
The photos displayed highlighted the daily life of the Algerian people during the colonial period and the life of the Mujahedeen (war veterans) in the maquis.
Facts on the National Liberation war are also exhibited in black and white pictures.
