Dubai Dolphinarium came up as a sponsor for 4th annual “Walk for Autism” event and gave away free passes to over 1000 children at the event. A part of the month-long awareness campaign that was launched by Child Early Intervention Centre in early April to mark the international autism month, the 2 km walk was held at Zabeel Park at 5:00pm. “Many UAE residents are still 'clueless' about autism. We believe it is our role to educate the community and encourage them to support individuals with the condition. Events such as the Walk for Autism serve to offer support to families of autistic individuals, particularly children. We are grateful to the organizations and healthcare providers who have joined in our fight against autism. While it helps spread the message faster, their participation motivates us to relentlessly continue raising awareness on the disease”, said Dr Hibah Shata, Managing Director and Co-Founder of the Child Early Intervention Centre.
