The Darb 1718 Contemporary Art and Culture Centre is hosting a collective visual art exhibition titled Salon Ramadan that will run from 16 July to 16 August, featuring more than 20 emerging and contemporary artists.
Salon Ramadan will kick off on Wednesday 16 July at 9pm with a live performance by Baheya, a local band.
The exhibition will showcase the work of a large selection of emerging and contemporary Egyptian artists including: Ahmed El Kut, Ali Abdel Mohsen, Amr Kafrawy, Ayman El Semary, Hany Rashed, Ibrahim El Dessouky, Mohamed Abla and Sabah Na'eim, among others.
Salon Ramadan is part of the Mawaweel Festival. Hosted by Darb 1718 Contemporary Art and Culture Centre and co-organised by the Cairo Jazz Club Agency, this fourth edition of the festival presents a rich cultural programme on the weekends of 17-18 and 24-25 July. Salon Ramadan is ongoing until 16 August.
