London's iconic cabs were recently adorned with full Gulf Air branding on them as part of a campaign with taxi advertising specialist Sherbet Media, advertising Bahrain’s national carrier’s network, one-stop-shop website and worldwide call centre. For over one month, Gulf Air branded London cabs operated across the central and greater London area.
On the successful taxi advertising campaign, Gulf Air’s UK Country Manager Mr Rashid AlGaoud commented: “We wanted to raise awareness of Gulf Air in one of the airline’s key markets, and to do so in a truly standout way. With Sherbet Media we achieved this. We gained great brand awareness from this campaign with positive feedback from a broad spectrum of residents and visitors who saw and used the Gulf Air branded taxis in various locations throughout London.”
Gulf Air has had a strong presence in the United Kingdom since its first flight to London in 1970, and currently operates a double daily service to London Heathrow Airport offering passengers a choice of morning and evening flights. Boasting one of the largest regional networks with multiple daily flights to ten cities across the Middle East, Gulf Air is well-positioned to facilitate two-way movement between Europe, Asia and several key destinations in the Middle East and North Africa.
Gulf Air flights can be booked online at gulfair.com, the airline’s one-stop-shop website, where customers can also find a suite of additional online services offering hotel bookings, car rentals and travel insurance. Fare / booking queries can also be directed to the airline’s 24-hour Worldwide Contact Centre on (+973) 17373737, or any Gulf Air sales offices and approved travel agencies
