Training at Melwood will be more competitive than ever this week as players vie for a precious place in Kenny Dalglish's Wembley line-upThat is the view of midfielder Jordan Henderson, who will be one of many Liverpool players aiming to go the extra few yards and impress the manager over the coming days. Sunday's 6-1 rout of Brighton at Anfield saw Craig Bellamy and Daniel Agger miss out completely due to minor niggles while the likes of Dirk Kuyt, Maxi Rodriguez and Jay Spearing had to settle for places on the bench. And Henderson believes Dalglish will face a huge dilemma when it comes to selecting his side to face Cardiff this weekend. "There are a lot of people who want to play in the final and some will be disappointed," Henderson told the Liverpool Echo. "Everyone will be training hard all week and we're all desperate to get into the starting line-up. It's up to the manager to decide." Liverpool oozed confidence against Brighton as Martin Skrtel, Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez netted for the home side in the FA Cup fifth round tie. The Bluebirds - who are just four points behind Cardiff in the Championship - were taken apart as the Reds ran riot to hit six. Henderson joined Spanish teammate Jose Enrique in insisting that such an assertive victory will fill the side with confidence for an eagerly awaited trip back to Wembley. "It was a good performance against Brighton. It was important we came out and did it right. "Brighton are a good team who played some good football. We had done our homework on them and knew what they were about. "They made it difficult for us at first but once we got a couple of goals it was easier. We deserved the win. Everyone is full of confidence and hopefully we can take that into the final at Wembley next week."
