Arsenal Ladies will host Chelsea Ladies at Emirates Stadium on Thursday, April 26 in the FA Women’s Super League. The treble winners began the defence of their Super League crown with a 3-2 win over Everton at their Boreham Wood FC home. Now the Gunners will play a special one-off match at the Emirates, giving their supporters another chance to see them in action. The match follows five days after the men welcome Roberto Di Matteo’s Chelsea side to north London and manager Laura Harvey is hoping her team will attract some of the fans attending the Premier League game. “It’s very exciting for us to be playing at Emirates Stadium - the whole team’s buzzing about it already and it’ll be a special night," she said. “The facilities and pitch are second to none and, more than that, the chance to play in front of an Emirates’ crowd will be great for us, and a real chance to show what we can do. “The atmosphere at Emirates Stadium, especially for derby games, is brilliant, and hopefully we’ll have a bit of that at our match.” Arsenal's London derby with Chelsea kicks off at 7.45pm on April 26 and tickets cost just £5 for adults and £2.50 concessions.
