Real Sociedad defender Inigo Martinez admits he is flattered to be linked with Liverpool, but insists he is more than happy in San Sebastien. The Spain Under 21 international has come through the youth ranks with Sociedad, but he only made his club debut earlier this season.Martinez has now established himself at the heart of Philippe Montanier's defence and his outstanding displays have not gone unnoticed with clubs in Italy, as well as La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, keeping tabs on him. And now it has emerged that Liverpool have also dispatched scouts to check on his progress in recent weeks. The player himself admits he cannot help but be flattered by interest, however, he insists he is settled at the Anoeta."I am happy in San Sebastian," he told skysports.com."It is normal that I am happy with this news, but those things depend on the club."Now my head is only focused on helping Real for us to make sure we are not in a dangerous position in the table."Source at Real have told skysports.com that the club would not even think about letting Martinez leave until the summer, saying: "We know about the presence of scouts, but our position is clear - the subject of a sale will not even be looked at until the summer."The player is contracted to Sociedad until 2015 and has a buy-out clause of €30million.
