Chairman of Kuwait Olympic Committee Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah heads to Lausanne, Switzerland, to attend the International Olympic Committee (IOC) meetings due to be held during December 5-8.Sheikh Ahmed will participate in a number of meetings of international Olympic family to be held in Lausanne, and will discuss a number of vital topics concerning the international olympic movement, Director General and Technical Director of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Hussein Al-Musallam told KUNA.He added that Sheikh Ahmad will participate in a meeting of the Olympic Solidarity Committee, Executive Office of the Federation of National Olympic Committees (NOC) and the Joint Meeting of the Executive Office of the IOC meetings.The meeting of the Executive Office of NOC will discuss the amendment of statute of the committee for the creation of the post of First Deputy President of the committee.The OSC meeting will address the budget allocated to support activities of the national committees 2013, as well as financial aid, courses and athletic missions, he explained.After attending the meetings, Sheikh Ahmad will head to Qatar upon an invitation from Qatar's Crown Prince and head of Qatar's Olympic Committee, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, to attend the opening of Arab Games on December 9.
