Speaking at the club’s 2011 General Assembly, Perez, who is in his second spell in charge of the Spanish giants, lavished praised on the Portuguese coach, whom he appointed as the man in charge of the first team last summer.Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has described Jose Mourinho as “the best coach in the world” and is hopeful that they can win the Champions League this season for the 10th time in their history."We believe in this team and in the best coach in the world: Jose Mourinho,” enthused the Madrid supremo, according to the club’s official website, “He has assumed what it means to be Real Madrid's coach and he has a high level of empathy and compromise with the club.“His Madridismo is unquestionable. We want the dream of winning our 10th European Cup title to come true soon. We should remember the team wasn't even a top seeder in the Champions League when this new era at the club began two years ago.“Last season we reached the semi-finals, something that hadn't happened since the 2002-03 campaign. We took more points than any other side in the group stage, and were the top scoring team and conceded the least."Perez also explained his vision to enhance the facilities at Madrid’s home ground, the Santiago Bernabeu."The stadium must be subjected to constant evolution and must become a symbol for state-of-the-art facilities and excellence,” he said.“We want to transform it and make of it a leading example for modernity, for sports, for Madridismo and for the city of Madrid.
