De Laurentiis: 'Napoli can win the Champions League'

A fine win in Europe over Villarreal has led the Italian club's leader to state they have a chance of achieving glory on the big stage as he encourages development.Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has backed his side to enjoy an unfettered run in the Champions League, believing they can go all the way.Walter Mazzarri's men boosted chances of qualification from Group A following a stellar 2-0 win over Villarreal on Tuesday night.Marek Hamsik and Edinson Cavani both scored, and their goals have seen De Laurentiis call for more of the same going forwards in the competition."There are still other games to play, but we can still get through the group," De Laurentiis told Radio Marte."I am happy Bayern Munich beat Manchester City [2-0], and now we have to beat the Germans when we play them."We are interested in winning the Champions League."Napoli play Inter at San Siro in Serie A on Saturday night.
