Newcastle - Arabstoday

Captain Fabricio Coloccini has urged his team-mates to enjoy the moment after their fifth straight victory was secured against Bolton, but still refuses to get carried away with talk of Champions League qualification. Easter Monday's 2-0 win at the Sports Direct Arena saw the Magpies draw level on points with Tottenham in fourth, with Alan Pardew's side hitting top form at exactly the right time of a long campaign. The skipper invited nufc.co.uk into the home dressing room after the game to discuss the team's latest success, which came thanks to Hatem Ben Arfa's wonderful solo goal and a tenth strike in black and white for on-song Papiss Cisse. But although delighted with another three points on what was his return to the side after missing the previous two games with a hamstring injury, Coloccini is simply staying focused on finishing as high in the Barclays Premier League table as possible. He said: "I think we are in a good moment, so we have to enjoy it - but as well, keep calm because we have the last five games and we have to push as hard as we can to get a good position in the league. "I don't want to speak about Europa League or Champions League, but we just want to finish in the best position we can." United have conceded just one goal in those five matches, keeping clean sheets in four of them, and Argentine ace Coloccini believes that solidity provides the platform for the likes of Ben Arfa, Cisse and Demba Ba to shine at the other end. "We are playing much better than maybe two months ago," he admitted. "Against Swansea, we played really well without the ball; we worked hard. Today as well - today, maybe we had more of the ball than against Swansea and we did a great job. "If we keep clean sheets, we give the confidence to the strikers to score. Now we know if we can score one, maybe we can win the game so it's very important. "And when you have players like Hatem, when you need him he can bring out his skill and change the game. That's important for us because when we're finding it hard to score as a team, his skill can make the difference." So all in all it was a satisfactory comeback for Coloccini, who suffered no reaction to his injury and oozed class alongside the ever-solid Mike Williamson throughout the 90 minutes. "It's difficult because it's my first game and when you start the game, you never know what can happen during the match," he said. "But I felt very good and I finished well, and we won - so everything's perfect!"
