Three Lions boss has revealed that he is pleased with the winger's progress and is hoping to include him in the the national squad in the coming months despite his young age.England manager Fabio Capello has admitted that he has been impressed by the performances of Arsenal’s young winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.The Italian, who named his squad for England's upcoming clash with Montenegro on Sunday evening, left the youngster out of his selection, but stated that he hopes to provide him an opportunity in the near future. The Italian is planning to rejuvenate his squad with an influx of promising youngsters and believes Oxlade-Chamberlain can really make an impression on the biggest stage for the national team. The Three Lions will confirm their spot at the European Championships next summer if they gain at least a point against Montenegro on Friday.Once qualification is sealed, it is thought that Capello will use the time before the start of the competition to blood his youngsters and the Italian likes what he has seen so far from the Gunners' £12 million signing from Southampton. He told FATV: “I have been impressed with him."He is a really interesting player. He is a good player, who has a lot quality and is playing at a really high level."He will be a really interesting player for the next friendly games before the Euros, which hopefully will happen for us." England will prepare for the European Championships by playing friendlies against the top two teams in the world, Holland and Spain and Capello is hoping that his youngsters such as Oxlade-Chamberlain and Manchester United striker can continue to impress for their clubs in front of goal. “For players to score goals in this competition is really important, both to improve and find the confidence in their quality," Capello continued. "It is the same when you play with the national team. "When you play in the Premier League, you can score but the whole thing is really normal."
