Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah assured Tuesday that Rafah crossing will be under the administration of the Palestinian legitimate forces only.

In an interview with CBC Extra News channel, Hamdallah said that the reconciliation agreement included handing over control of all the crossings, institutions, ministries and employees to the Palestinian government.

Hamdallah lauded the Egyptian role, calling on the Palestinian parties to be unified to serve their cause.

Hamdallah thanked Egypt and President Abdel Fatah El Sisi for the efforts exerted to achieve Palestinian reconciliation, noting that Egypt would supervise the rest of the steps to implement the national accord.

He pointed out that the aim of the coming meetings between Hamas and Fatah, which Cairo will witness, is to implement all the items of "Cairo 2011" agreement.
