Egypt
Cairo - Ahmed Abdullah

The media coordinator of Egypt Support Coalition, in the Egyptian parliament, Young MP Ahmed Zidan, praised the meeting between the president and the government with young people and citizens under one roof at the last youth conference held in Alexandria governorate. In an interview with Egypt Today, Zidan said that these conferences are one of the most successful forms of communication between people and political leadership.

Zidan said that these conferences are no longer transient gatherings or ordinary meetings for discussion and dialogue, but they are usually established by the current President of the Republic Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, adding that the president is keen to hold these conferences in a periodic way.

He indicated that communication is in the best picture between the components of the state, from the presidency through the government to the representatives of all sects of the people from youth to journalists to parliamentarians, pointing out that the government is often surprised by demands that force the ministers to clarify what they do and what they cannot implement.

Zidan pointed to the clear message from the sitting of the student Mariam, who excelled at high school, whose father works as a real estate guard, stressing that it reflects Sisi's interest in the successful without looking at any background or accounts related to its people or their fame and strength.

Regarding the most prominent problems currently affecting citizens, he admitted that there is a severe deterioration in infrastructure, many services are absent from the citizens, and problems such as sanitation or the erosion of students' seats in schools. He said that all problems caused by poor economic conditions, and that the MPs are trying to solve all of the people's problems.

The MP stressed that there is permanent contact between the parliament and the government to solve the problems, stressing the need to monitor the markets to prevent the greed of traders and protect citizens from it, in addition to increasing the rates of investment, manufacturing and export abroad as necessary solutions urgently to resolve the crisis in the Egyptian economy.

He praised the formation of the national council to combat extremism, stressing the importance role of the council. He added that the parliament will open all ways of communication with all those who fight terrorism and extremism, and called on the new members of the council to find new solutions to reduce extremism and eliminate terrorism in all forms.

The MP expressed the hope that there will be a consensus among the deputies to push legislation in favor of the simple citizen, and that there is a legislative flow to serve the people in the districts, villages and cities, stressing the importance of a comprehensive health law to ensure access to free treatment for all citizens .
