Zenit midfielder Sergei Semak should recover from a foot injury in time for Saturday's crucial league clash against his former side CSKA Moscow, his club said Tuesday. The Russia international returned to light training Tuesday after sitting out the weekend's 1-0 win over Lokomotiv Moscow. Fellow midfielder Viktor Fayzulin remains an injury doubt for Saturday, when Zenit go a long way to effectively killing off the title race. They are 11 points clear of second-placed CSKA at the top of the Russian Premier League with six games remaining. Semak, 36, spent a decade with the army side, scoring 69 goals in 289 appearances until 2004, when he joined Paris St. Germain. He returned to Russia a year later to play for FK Moscow before helping Rubin Kazan to back-to-back titles in 2008 and 2009.
