Russia's Maria Sharapova won a tennis tournament in U.S. Cincinnati after beating Serbia's Jelena Jankovic in the final encounter. The match between two former world's top players lasted for some three hours and ended in favor of the Russian 4-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3. "In the end, it could have gone either way. We kept breaking each other in the beginning. Felt like one of us played a few good points and than the other one and the levels were up and down throughout the match. So, yeah, I'm just fortunate that at the end of the day I'm the winner," Sharapova was quoted as saying after the match. Sharapova and Jankovic played each other seven times with the Russian keeping a confident winning record of 6-1. "You know, Maria, at the end, was a better player. Congratulations to her," Jankovic said after the game
