Tiger Woods returned to the Top 10 of the world men's golf rankings following his first PGA Tour victory in more than 2 1/2 years. He's now No. 6. Woods was 13-under-par 275 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and won the event Sunday by five strokes. It was his first win on the tour since Sept. 13, 2009, at the BMW Championships and 72nd overall. That is third-best all-time and his next win would tie him with Jack Nicklaus. Sam Snead, with 82, tops the list. Woods dropped out of the Top 10 almost a year ago but jumped 12 spots this week to sixth. The top of the list stays the same with Luke Donald, who moved back to No. 1 last week, holding the top spot for a 22nd week overall. His rankings point average is 9.868. Rory McIlroy is second at 9.720, with Lee Westwood (8.017) in third, Martin Kaymer (5.758) fourth and Steve Stricker in the fifth spot at 5.713. Woods has an average of 5.595. Charl Schwartzel (5.174) is down one spot to seventh while Justin Rose (5.129) remains ranks No. 8. Webb Simpson (5.102) goes from seventh to ninth and Adam Scott (4.961) slips from ninth to No. 10. Jason Day falls to 11th but is right behind Scott with an average of 4.911. Michael Hoey took the Hassan II Trophy event Sunday on the European Tour and goes from 98th to No. 74 in the rankings.
