World No. 7 Judd Trump claimed his second title in World Snooker China Open after 2011 with a 10-4 win over Ricky Walden in the best-of-19 final here on Sunday.

Earning a back-to-back final appearance after PTC finals, Walden heated up quicker than his opponent. He won the opening frame with a break of 71, and his clearance from the blue to black in the second made it 2-0. Trump took one frame back, before a break of 108 gave Walden a 3-1 lead.

However, the match went in a different way then. Trump won eight frames in a row to get the match point on 9-3. Although Walden pulled one back with a run of 64, Trump still sealed the win in the 14th frame with a 55.

"I didn't play well at the start of the match, but from 3-1 down I played better and built a good lead," said Trump, "At 9-3 I lost my concentration a bit, but that helped me get my focus back and I made a good break in the last frame."

It was Trump's fifth ranking title of his career and first since the 2014 Australian Goldfields Open. The win in Beijing will give him much confidence for the World Championship later this month. He reached the final at the Crucible a few weeks after his first China Open triumph in 2011.

"I'm very happy to win this again. It's the first time I have won a tournament twice and it gives me a lot of confidence," he added.
