Steve Stricker sank four straight birdies to end his round Sunday, enabling him to maintain his five-stroke lead at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. The late surge gave Stricker a 4-under-par 69 at Kapalua, Hawaii, and allowed him to finish 54 holes of the season-opening event at 19-under-par 200. The 44-year-old entered the day with a five-shot margin and also left with one, catching fire down the stretch after a slow start with six consecutive pars. Knotted in second place at minus-14 were Jonathan Byrd and Scotland's Martin Laird, both of whom shot 6-under 67s, and Webb Simpson, who posted a 4-under 69 in round three. Tied for fifth three shots further back were Bryce Molder (67) and Kevin Na (71).
