Lamar Neagle netted the go-ahead goal in the 61st minute Saturday and the Montreal Impact won their fourth straight at home, 3-1 over San Jose. After spotting the Earthquakes a 1-0 lead in the 23rd, Montreal got the equalizer only 2 minutes later when Marco Di Vaio put in a low cross from Felipe Martins. Then in the 62nd minute, Patrice Bernier distributed the ball to Neagle, who bent in a 22-yard shot for his second goal of the season and a 2-1 advantage for the Impact (11-13-3). Bernier added a penalty-shot goal as Montreal grabbed fifth place in the Eastern Conference by staying hot at home. The Western Conference-leading Earthquakes (14-6-5) got a league-leading 18th goal from Chris Wondolowski.
